Back when coffee was in short supply folks began blending their coffee with the roasted root of the European endive plant also known as chicory.  A classic was born.  This will make a rich and spicy brew.  Not available in whole bean. Medium roast.

Absolute favorite

I tried the New Orleans Style Coffee with Chicory just out of curiosity. Have always heard of adding chicory to coffee, etc. Was blown away. It’s rich, no bitterness and nothing weak about it. Aroma & flavor are amazing. It’s now my favorite by far. I’d put this coffee up against any other.
